Description

The South Gateway of Huntington House, possibly built around 1750, consists of a pair of squared gate piers made of ashlar stone. Each pier features moulded panels above a moulded pedestal. The top of the piers has a moulded projecting cope that is crowned with a moulded octagonal urn finial. The western pier is intact, while the eastern pier has recently lost its finial, and the cope is dislodged. The gates themselves are made of timber and are in a modern style.
