4 Eweford Farm Cottages, Eweford Farm

7 Eweford Farm Cottages is a mid-19th century group of single-storey buildings consisting of four pairs of identical mirrored cottages, arranged in a U-plan configuration. The cottages feature an attic storey that breaks the eaves. They are constructed from roughly squared and snecked pink sandstone, with grey ashlar stugged dressings. The angles of cottages 2 and 3, and 6 and 7, are abutting.

The front elevation displays mirrored pairs with doorways located in the outer bays, each having penticed slab porches. The inner bays contain windows, while there are two small central windows on the ground floor. The attic windows are topped with piend-roofed dormerheads. The end gable of cottages 1 and 8 connects to rear wings, which include a blind arched recess in the gable head.

On the rear elevations, there are two narrow window bays at the center, flanked by gabled extensions. Doorways have been inserted at cottages 2, 3, 5, and 6. The cottages feature a lying-pane glazing pattern in the sash and case windows, with small-pane glazing in the rear windows and plate glass in the small front windows. The roofs are covered with grey slates, and there are coped ashlar ridge stacks at the center of the front elevations, along with gable wallhead stacks at the rear.
