Description
5 Windsor Gardens in Musselburgh is a row of eight cottages built in the late 19th century. These two-storey cottages feature dormer heads, each two windows wide with a central door. The cottages have a ridge slate roof and are constructed from squared rubble with ashlar dressings. The windows have raised margins, and the doors are architraved with a variety of triangular, segmental, and scrolled pediment designs. The first-floor windows are dormer headed, with the right-hand window being bipartite and topped with a crow-stepped gablet. The left-hand windows alternate between triangular and semi-circular shapes, featuring shall motifs and pedimented heads. The cottages also have double-pane sash windows.
