Description
The Temperance Hotel, located at 60, 61, and 62 Market Street in Haddington, is an 18th century, three-storey building constructed of rubble with raised quoins. The ground and first floors are painted, featuring a central doorpiece with a triangular pediment. The ground floor includes a shop, while the first floor has five windows and the second floor has three windows, all with margins. The building has a slated roof adorned with a moulded eaves cornice and rolled skewputts. Additionally, there is a two-storey lean-to addition on the east gable.
