Description
105 High Street in Dunbar is a later 19th-century, three-storey, five-bay classical bank building featuring a grey ashlar front.
The west elevation has a raised plinth and cill courses on the first and second floors, with a moulded detail on the second floor. The ground floor is channelled and has quoins. There are Doric pilastered doorways in the outer bays, each with generous fanlights and panelled doors. The ground floor windows have rounded corners on their lintels. The first-floor windows are quarter pilastered and architraved, while the second and fourth bays feature bipartite windows. The second floor has windows with lugged architraves. An overhanging cornice is present, with a blocking course that is broken by pedestals flanking the centre bay and at the angles. The glazing pattern includes both four-pane and plate glass. The gable head stacks are coped ashlar.
