Description

97 Maxwell Avenue in Westerton, Bearsden, is a single-storey and attic block of six houses, built between 1913 and 1915. Designed by J A W Grant with consultant Raymond Unwin, the building features a harled exterior with outer gables and a central range that includes four dormers. The main roof slopes down over two pairs of doors, which are tripartite in design. The upper sashes of the windows are small-paned, and there are porches on the flanks. Stacks are positioned below the apex, and the roofs are covered with slate.
