Description

Typical vernacular range of old property lining west side

of street; No. 20-22 dated 1803 on raised centre

chimney; ashlar, stucco, and painted stonework; one of

the few remaining continuous groups of houses in the centre

of the burgh dating from the late 18th - early 19th

centuries; opposite side of street has been partly rebuilt

in Victorian era.
