75-6 High Street, Dundee

75-76 High Street in Dundee is an earlier 19th century commercial building, although it likely includes parts from the 17th and 18th centuries at the rear. It is a three-storey structure with an attic and features five bays with classical detailing. The ground floor has a modern shopfront and a close entry. The exterior is finished in painted ashlar with a grey slate roof. The windows are pilastered and have timber sash and case frames with 4-pane and plate glass, along with a pair of canted dormers. The three central bays on the first and second floors are recessed, and there is an entablature on the first floor with pedimented outer bays. The wallhead is corniced with angle dies at the outer bays.

Inside, the building has been incorporated into 70-73 High Street and Gardyne's Land, which is listed separately. The upper floors feature early cornices and some chimneypieces.
