Description
67 and 69 Queensberry Street in Dumfries were built in the second half of the 18th century and have been altered since. The building has two storeys and four bays. It features painted, heavily-droved ashlar with margins. The left bay contains a wide pend, while a late 19th-century shop front occupies the remaining three bays. This shop front includes windows on either side of the door, with blocks above the fascia over channelled pilaster strips. The upper floors have plate glass sash windows, and there is an eaves and lintel band, along with a stack at the north end. The building has a slate roof and a full-height rear wing that is linked to the Hole i' the Wa'.
