Description

This is a road bridge built around 1815, spanning a deep gully over Holehouse Linn. It features a low tunnel arch and has retaining wing walls on both sides of the linn. There are also subsidiary dry arches, with the one to the north being wider. The bridge is constructed from rubble, with ashlar coping on the parapets. The upper part of the bridge was rebuilt around 1983.
