Description

No 8 in Carronbridge Village is a row of three adjoining single-storey cottages, built in the later 18th or early 19th century. Each cottage features a central door that is both boarded and glazed. The cottage at the south end, numbered 7, was likely the last to be constructed. The buildings are made of rubble with ashlar dressings and are all whitewashed. They have sash windows with 12-pane glazing. There is a single rebuilt brick chimney stack, while the other stacks have been removed. The roofs are covered with slate.
