Description
8 Bladnoch Village is an early 19th century mirrored pair of single-storey, 2-bay cottages. The exterior features dry-dashed walls with painted ashlar margins and a base course, along with a harled return gable on the left side. The doors are paired at the center, with a letterbox fanlight above the door of No 8, which is flanked by windows. No 8 has sash and case windows with 4 panes, while No 7 has casement windows. The cottages have a coped skew on the left and end stacks, along with a rooflight and a modern dormer. No 7 has a grey slate roof, while No 8 is covered with Welsh slates. There have been regrettable alterations to the rear of the cottages.
