Description
East Lodge at Cowden Castle is a single-storey building constructed around 1820 to 1840. It is made of ashlar stone and features two windows along with a central porch that has a pediment. The building has margins and splayed angles, and the openings are adorned with Tudor hoodmoulds. The original sash windows have traceried heads. The roof is broad-eaved and low-pitched, designed in a piend style, and includes a chimney with two octagonal shafts.
