Description
The Old Bridge in Tullibody is an early 16th-century structure that was ruined in 1560 and subsequently repaired multiple times, including in 1660 and again later in the 17th century. The bridge measures 442 feet along the parapets and is between 11 feet 6 inches and 20 feet wide. It is constructed of rubble with some ashlar stonework. The bridge features two river arches with obtuse angle arches that are ribbed, one of which has three set-backs in the voussoirs. Additionally, there are three flood arches, one of which is ribbed, located in the western approach.
