Description

West House at Home Farm, Harviestoun Castle, dates from around 1820 to 1830 and has had later additions. It is an extensive building that was originally a single-storey symmetrical steading, although part of it has been altered to two storeys. The structure features crow-stepped gables, a central octagon tower, and a stone spire. At each end, there are twin two-storey farmhouses set diagonally, which include Tudor hood-moulds, pyramid roofs, and four central chimneys.
