29 Maritime Street in Leith, Edinburgh, is a former tenement building that likely dates back to the mid-18th century, although it was reconstructed later and restored in 1991. The structure is three stories high with seven bays and features a central pend, now converted into office space. It is constructed from variegated sandstone and coursed rubble, with droved dressings.

The northwest (front) elevation has a segmental-arched cobbled pend at the center, with two single windows above it. To the left, there is a low doorway, while a doorway to the right is separated from the pend by a recently formed window. The remaining bays feature single windows.

On the southeast (rear) elevation, there is a wide opening that extends to two floors above the pend, which has been infilled with timber weather-boarding and includes two large windows. The windows on either side are irregularly spaced, and there are some blocked-up openings, with a relieving arch over the first-floor window to the right.

The building mostly has modern 12-pane timber sash and case windows and is topped with a slate roof that has a small central stack. The interior was gutted and converted to offices in 1991.
