Description
32 Greenhill Gardens is a double villa built around 1860, featuring two stories and a symmetrical four-bay rectangular plan. The building has a service wing that is recessed to the south and No 32 is subdivided. It is constructed of squared and snecked sandstone with cream ashlar on the west side. The design includes a base, a dividing band, and eaves courses, along with a deep cornice supported by stone brackets and panelled surrounds for the openings.
On the west entrance elevation, there are tripartite doorways in the outer bays, each with panelled doors and plate glass fanlights above. The first floor features tripartite windows with narrow sidelights above the doorways, and there are additional tripartite windows in the second and third bays. To the outer left, there is a two-storey flat-roofed addition with a contrasting ashlar facade and a rendered side, which includes a small-pane window at the jettied first floor. The two-storey flat-roofed service wing on the outer right has a bipartite window at the first floor, along with a mutule cornice and blocking course. The villa has small-pane sash and case windows, a grey slate roof, a deeply corniced wallhead, mutual stacks, moulded cans, and a single box dormer on the west side.
The interiors were not seen in 1991. The property features a low saddleback wall along the street and high coped mutual boundary walls.
