Description

The well located at East Crosscauseway in Edinburgh dates back to 1797. It features a square-plan plinth that is moulded and corniced, topped with a smooth ashlar obelisk. There is a round metal plate on the street front. The well is now situated in a walled recess that faces the pavement and is no longer in use.
