15, 15A Greenhill Terrace, Edinburgh

15 and 15A Greenhill Terrace is a villa built around 1873, featuring two stories and three bays. The structure is made of squared and snecked sandstone rubble, with lightly stugged ashlar and polished dressings on the north side. It has a base course, a dividing band course, an eaves cornice, and raised lugged window surrounds that are stop-chamfered at the ground level and architraved on the first floor. The porch has incised patterns on the lintels and spandrels, bracketted cills, and raised rusticated quoins.

The north entrance elevation includes a segmental-arched open porch located in a re-entrant angle formed by an advanced bay to the left. This porch features two engaged and one free-standing capitalled column, with a cornice stone balustrade that forms a balcony above the first-floor window. The door has a roll-moulded surround, a panelled door, and a plate glass fanlight.

On the ground floor, there is a corniced advanced tripartite window in the outer right bay, and a bipartite window on the first floor. The outer left bay has a bipartite window at ground level and a single window above it. The villa is fitted with plate glass sash and case windows and has a grey slate piended roof. The wallhead stacks are shouldered and corniced, with moulded octagonal cans and moulded eaves guttering, along with some original rainwater goods, including a hopper. The boundary walls consist of a low saddleback wall facing the street and higher mutual walls.
