Description
Pier View Cottage in Scarinish, Tiree, is an 18th-century Highland cottage of the Lewis type, featuring a single storey. The building has double walls constructed of dry-stone and is lime-washed with sand infill. It has a piended thatch roof supported by couples resting on the inner walls. The chimneys, windows, and doors are designed with deep ingoes. There is a single-storey addition made of harled brick at the northern end.
