Description
Tiree Parish Church, located in Kirkapol, was built by Peter MacNab between 1843 and 1844. The church has an oblong shape and is constructed from coursed rubble with a piended slate roof. It features a projecting central pavilion and a belfry topped with an obelisk-like cap. The windows, some of which are slightly pointed, are arranged in two ranges. Inside, the church has a plain design with a gallery on three sides supported by slim cast-iron pillars, and a large high pulpit.
