Description

Pier House in Craighouse, Jura, is a traditional building from the earlier 19th century. It has two storeys and features a rendered and harled exterior with a gabled slate roof. On the east side, there is a gabled porch, while the west side has a fore-stair that is now partly enclosed in a two-storey piended bay. At the south end, there is a one-storey lean-to smiddy, and at the north end, there is a gabled rubble shop that also includes a gabled porch.
