Description

Drybridge, Hafton House, is a small cast-iron dry bridge likely built between 1815 and 1820. It spans the driveway that runs through a stone-lined cutting to the rear of Hafton House. The bridge features unpierced horizontal beams with an approximate span of 10 feet, supported by lattice-patterned struts and ties. It also has decorative cast-iron balusters, which are a standard pattern commonly found on early 19th-century staircases.
