Description
Croig Harbour and Sea Wall, dating from the late 18th to early 19th century, is constructed from drystone rubble. It connects a natural rock island to the shore via a causeway and breakwater. On the northern side of the causeway, there is a ramped pier featuring a single-storey flat-roofed store at its head. Both the causeway and pier are surfaced with irregular rubble slabs. To the south of the causeway, on the mainland side, there is a sea wall built in a similar style, which may have served as a quay.
