Description

Clock Lodge in Lochgilphead is a mid-19th century building designed in a German style. It stands two storeys high with an attic and is constructed from coursed rubble. The building features a high-pitched, piended slate roof, which is topped with a bell-house. On the north side of the roof, there is a clock, and the building has narrow slit windows. Notable architectural details include a segmental arch, a mock portcullis, and a niche above the arch. Small attic windows add to its distinctive character.
