Description

Ardkinglas House is a large, sprawling mansion built between 1906 and 1908 by Sir Robert Lorimer, designed in a Scottish style around an open court. The building features two and a half to three storeys, with a taller tower. It is constructed from coursed rubble with dressed face-work and has corbie-step gables. The roof is slated, and there are pedimented dormers. A loggia on the second storey is accessed by curved stairs. The property also includes one and a half storey offices with a porch that is dated 1907.

Inside, there are several fine rooms located on the second storey, including the Morning Room, Saloon, and Dining Room.
