Description
Islay Lodge, located on Poltalloch Street in Lochgilphead, is an early 19th-century plain Georgian building. It stands two storeys high and features three wide windows, with one-storey wings extending to the east and west. The structure is built of rubble and rendered at the front, topped with a slate roof. Each wing has a blind arch that interrupts a string-course. The west wing has been converted into a garage and has undergone recent alterations.
