Description
Glencruitten House, located in Oban, was built in 1897 and altered in 1903 by architect Edward Appin. This two-storey building is designed in a Scottish style, featuring harled walls and corbie-step gables. It includes angle turrets that enhance its architectural interest. The interior, along with its furniture, was designed by Lorimer between 1927 and 1928, showcasing a dining room with a plaster ceiling and panelling. Lorimer also added a library, an ante room, and a servant's wing during this period.
