Description

Earlier 19th century. 2-storey and attic, 3-bay tenement with shop at ground. Rendered and lined as ashlar with ashlar dressings, painted. Base and eaves lintel courses; raised margins; tripartite windows with stone mullions.

E (JOHN STREET/ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: slender columned doorpiece to centrewith entablature, fanlit 2-leaf panelled door. Tripartite window to left. Timber pilastered 2-bay shop front to right, modern door to left, shop window to outer right flanked by pilasters; modern fascia, cornice. Window to centre at 1st floor; tripartite windows flanking.

N (PRINCES STREET WEST/SIDE) ELEVATION: window at ground and 1st floor. W (REAR) ELEVATION: projecting curved stair tower to centre with cat-slide roof, door on return to left.

Variety of glazing patterns, mostly replacement windows, small-pane sash and case to ground floor tripartite to E. Grey slate roof, rendered corniced stacks to gables; full-width slate-hung modern dormer to E and W elevations.
