Description

The building is a steading located in Old Montrose, dating back to 1771. It features an arched and pedimented central bay that supports a panelled octagonal tower, which is topped with a cupola that has a pennant. A wing of the steading was rebuilt in 1831, and there are also modern additions to the structure.
