Description
Bankhead Windmill is an 18th century and later structure located in Forfar. It is a rubble-built, roofless two-storey threshing mill that once had a piended roof made of stone slates. The mill features slit openings and a tapering circular windmill tower, which has a damaged cantilevered gallery made of stone slabs. Attached to the mill is an L-plan single-storey cottage that is harled with margins.
