Description

The stable block and gate piers at Balmadies House feature two Renaissance-style piers made of ashlar stone, topped with moulded caps and baluster-shaped finials. The flank walls are constructed from rubble and have been pierced by shot holes. There is also an inset stone with an inscription. These features may date back to the early 17th century.
