Description
St Mary's Episcopal Church, located at West Hillbank in Kirriemuir, was designed by Sir J. Ninian Comper of Bucknall & Comper, London, and built between 1903 and 1905. The church features a curvilinear Gothic style with a four-bay nave, a north aisle, and a west tower that is battlemented. There is a transeptal south porch and an aisleless two-bay chancel. The interior is noted for its finely detailed, high-quality furnishings and stained glass, much of which was created by Comper, including a memorial window dedicated to his father.
