Description
Justinhaugh Bridge, built around 1900, features a steel bowstring design with a span of over 100 feet. It is supported by semi-lozenge piers made of rock-faced red sandstone blockwork, which have crenellated tops. The approach walls are constructed from snecked rubble and include end dies. The bowstrings are secured with three stays on the outside, while the inside has lattice parapets and decorative wrought-iron scrolls at the piers.
