Description

St Thomas of Canterbury Roman Catholic Church is an aisled oblong structure with a chancel, built in the Romanesque style using ashlar and slate. The west front features battlemented bell towers and a projecting porch. The church was completed in 1848 and designed by architect George Mathewson from Dundee. There is an attached presbytery designed in the Tudor Gothic style.
