This is the north wing of Friend’s Cottage, originally a 17th-century Meeting House for the Society of Friends. It is a rectangular building featuring spur stones and skews. A set of mounting steps is located on the boundary wall at the gateway. The wing is a single storey and has a harled exterior with a slated roof. The building ceased to be used as a Meeting House approximately twenty years ago. Further information can be found in references cited as NSA, TSA and Hay's "Post Reformation Churches”.
