Description

The building is a 17th-century Friends' Meeting House, located in Kinmuck. It is a rectangular structure constructed with spur stones and skews, but not crowsteps. A set of mounting steps rises from the boundary wall at a gateway leading to the site. Adjacent to the Meeting House is a one-storey cottage, which is harled with a slated roof, and features a wing on the north side. The Meeting House ceased to be used by the Society of Friends approximately twenty years ago. References to the building appear in the National Site Archive (NSA), the Traditional Site Archive (TSA), and in Hay’s “Post Reformation Churches”.
