Description
Keith Hall originally stood as Caskieben Castle, dating back to the 16th century. The original design was a Z-plan, with four storeys. A substantial addition was made in the late 17th century to the south front, creating a three-storey structure with four-storey towers at each end. In the 19th century, offices were added to the north. References to the building appear in C & D IV, page 61 (plan), and in G S Keith's "Agriculture of Aberdeenshire", pages 102-3 (illustrated).
