Description
The building is a two-storey classic structure made of rubble with a slate roof, located on Church Street in Inverbervie. It dates from around 1840 and features a pedimented central bay topped by an 18th-century belfry, which has since been removed. The building originally included jail vaults, two of which are still present, as well as an upper hall that houses the council chamber. There is also an inset stone dated 1569.
