Description
Howford is an early 19th-century building constructed for Louis Savan, a French émigré. It is a single-storey U-shaped main house featuring twin three-window bows. The entrance hall has a flat roof and a tripartite doorpiece, which is flanked by small arched windows. At the back, there are twin piended pavilion wings with Gothick windows. The exterior is harled with granite margins. Currently, the building is used as a store and poultry house and is in poor condition.
