Rose Cottage, Marykirk

Braefoot, located in Marykirk, includes several cottages from different periods. Rose Cottage dates from the late 18th or early 19th century and features two windows and a central door, with a harled exterior and margins, topped with a slated roof. Mathers and Milne Cottages, built in the mid-19th century, also have two windows and two doors, along with two canted dormers. Their construction is of rubble with irregular dressings, and they have slated roofs. Lindsay Cottage, from the early 19th century, has a two-window facade and a central door, constructed of rubble with droved dressings and a slated roof.
