Description

The Custom House in Fraserburgh, designed by Archibald Simpson around 1820 to 1835, is a two-storey building with a basement, constructed from ashlar stone. It features two windows on each front, with a curved three-window corner that includes a couple-columned Ionic portico and a perron. The building has broad eaves and a low-pitched roof, topped with an urn chimney. The basement windows are segmentally arched.
