Description

The Mill of Glenkindie is an 18th-century structure that was rebuilt in 1901-1902 after a fire. It is constructed from rubble, with a brick-built kiln. The mill features a 14-foot by 4-foot overshot wheel, which has segmental gearing dating from around 1870. This wheel is currently in working order and powers both the mill and the adjoining sawmill.
