Description
The Lythe, also known as Crimonmogate House, is a single-storey and attic building, likely dating after 1852. It is constructed of rubble and has a broad, eaved roof. The front elevation features two windows and a central doorway, with decorative detailing around the openings and original glazing. Two dormers are present, likely added later. A rear portion of the building has been rebuilt and extended. Estate maps from 1834 and 1952 indicate that only one block existed at the Kennels site, which probably corresponds to the present kennels.
