Description

22 Low Shore in Whitehills is likely an early to mid-19th century cottage that underwent heightening in the later 19th century. It is a single storey and attic structure with three bays. The front is made of rubble with contrasting painted joints and margins. The central entrance is flanked by later gabled dormers that break the wallhead in the outer bays. The windows feature 4-pane glazing. There are concrete skewputts and coped end stacks, and the roof is slate with a loft roof light. Additionally, there is a later single storey extension with a mono-pitched roof at the south gable, which consists of two bays and includes a doorway.
