Description
Fernlea, Skene House is a mid 18th century building constructed of ashlar stone. It is two storeys high and features two windows along with a central door. The western part of the building is domestic in style and has a single central feature with corbels at the first floor level, which supports a pentice. The west gable includes skewputs. The eastern part, possibly a coach house, has a piended roof and a brick arched segmental doorway located in the gable end.
