Description
St Mary's Church on King Street in Aberdeen was designed by A. Marshall Mackenzie and Son, specifically A.G.R. Mackenzie, and built between 1937 and 1939. The church features a nave and aisles, a tall clerestory, and a broad, short tower-porch. The chancel is aisleless and constructed from rubble, with unmoulded openings, creating a simple yet striking hall.
