Description
Ellengowan is a building dating from around 1835. It features a single-storey basement and a dormerless attic, with a two-window and central door ashlar front. The gables have three windows, and there are three round arched windows in the attic. The building has a broad eaved roof and an impressive entrance hall that is distinguished by fine anta pilasters and a groin vaulted ceiling. The overall design displays a simple yet distinctive treatment throughout.
