Description

Liddell's Monument in Dyce is a square granite ashlar structure dated 1637. It was erected in memory of Duncan Lidell, who lived from 1561 to 1613. He served as the Rector of Julian University and was a Physician to the Court of Brunswick. The monument features an upper section that is recessed and includes an inscription along with armorial panels. It is topped with a pyramid and a finial.
