Description
Stoneywood is a building designed by James Matthews of Mackenzie & Matthews, constructed between 1849 and 1850. It features a Jacobean style and consists of two stories and an attic, with harled walls that have margins. The southwest front is symmetrical, showcasing a three-arch entrance porch and twin shaped gables. The northeast front also has a symmetrical design, highlighted by a three-story ogee-capped tower and a low two-story northern wing that includes an alcove.
